Venus
Revisited retells the story of the birth of Venus
from a more current perspective. As she rose naked
from the sea, the source of all life, she comes
to us - complete with accessories.
She
appears with Gucci sunglasses, fishnet stockings,
sea creature tattoos, a fishing lure earring, a
shell crown housing a live fish in a fishbowl and
carrying a sea fan.
Venus
Revisited is a contemporary Venus. Perhaps a little
more tattered than Botticcelli's interpretation,
but regal nonetheless.
